The lowest grossing film of all time only made $30..Do u know.?

Zyzzyx Road, a 2006 thriller, flopped despite starring Tom Sizemore from Saving Private Ryan and Grey’s Anatomy’s Katherine Heigl! With a budget of $1.2 million, the film premiered in Dallas on February 24, 2006. It ran a single screening at noon each day for a total of seven days. Only six people paid to see it!

They only had the “premiere” in Dallas to fulfill a Screen Actor’s Guild requirement so that they could pay their actors less. In fact, one of the producers even offered to refund the money some of his friends had spent to see it!

Plot:
Grant is an accountant with a bad marriage and a daughter whom he loves. He takes to the road to service his accounts in Las Vegas. While there he meets seductive Marissa. They have a week-long affair which culminates in the arrival of Marissa's ex-boyfriend, Joey. Joey attempts to kill the lovers, but Grant gets the upper hand. Grant and Marissa then drive Joey's body to Zyzzyx Road and Grant buries Joey in the desert there. But in the morning the body is missing and something is trying to kill Grant and Marissa. In the DEATH OF A SALESMAN meets LOLITA ending, Zyzzyx Rd. reveals a shocking, tragic twist. (written by user Producer on IMDB.com)
